I would like to give my condolences to the families of the victims who died in the Columbine High School Shooting. I also pray for the victims that were injured and not injured. I pray for the students, parents and the faculty of Columbine High School and for the citizens of Littleton. My heart goes out to each and every one of you. But we have to remember that God is watching over us. When I heard on the news of this tragedy I just wanted to cry. It was so devasting. I told my husband that these children who died were so innocent and they were so young. They had their futures ahead of them and two students came and ended 13 lives for no reason. I will never understand what was going through their minds. But I guess we will never know why they did it. I wish there could be justice for the families of the victims who died. My heart just weeps for all of you. I live in Georgia and I wish I could do something to ease the pain that all of you feeling but I know I can't. But my prayers are with each and every one of you. It just breaks my heart to see a community in so much pain. I just want to sit and cry. May God bless each and every one in Littleton. Every since I have heard about this devasting ordeal. I know not to take life for granted. I have a cousin who is a senior in high school and I worry about him every day. I am so scared. But I pray everyday that he is okay. Tomorrow is Mother's Day and the mothers who have lost their children to this terrible tragedy I know that is painful for them to bear. To the faculty and students of Columbine High School, I pray that God watch over you and protect you when you go back to the school that he will protect you and wrap his loving arms around you. You all have been victims and I know you have a lot of healing to do but God can help you through it. I pray for God to watch Columbine and all the people in Littleton. May God be with you. My thoughts, prayers and love are with every one of you. Sincerely, Michelle Stamey Clarkesville, Georgia

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Littleton. My heart breaks for the parents and siblings of the children who died, and for Mrs. Sanders. I watch the news stories about the Columbine families and all I can do is cry and hold my four-year-old daughter. When my daughter was an infant, I held her in my arms and cried while I watched the news of the bombing of the Federal Building in Oklahoma City. I cannot fathom how anyone could kill children. I pray that God will comfort all parents who have lost children, and that somehow, we can end the violence and hatred that seems so pervasive in our country and many countries around the world.

My deepest concern for ALL the students, friends and families. Last week, I caught a program on the HGTV cable channel, about memorial quilts. The host, Alex Anderson, showed a quilt made at the school attended by Polly Klass, a young girl from my area-San Diego, who was murdered. She also showed quilts made for the families of nine Forest Service fire fighters, young people only in their twenties, who died fighting a Colorado forest fire a few years ago. This can be a healing memorial. If a quilt or quilts are planned, I would like to help. I can offer my time, I can offer to make a block, or help organize. I hope you will, at least, accept my deepest feeling for all of you. Our family knows deep pain, certainly: I am struggling with breast cancer, and it has been hard on my children as it has on me. I can only tell you that pain is a journey; that love, support and help sometimes come from the least expected places.

Words can never express the shock and sadness which I feel whenever I let my thoughts drift to that awful day. I will never forget sitting in the dentist chair watching the scene unfold before my eyes, seeing my high school on national news. This terrible thing is now what will be remembered at the class of 1999's ten year reunion, not the prom or classes or activities but this terrible act which will taint all the wonderful high school memories. As a Columbine High School Alumni, class of '86, my heart is broken this happened at "my" school. As a parent my heart is broken for all the parents, families and friends of the victims and survivors. I cannot even imagine what they are going through and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I sit here now in my dorm room at Davidson College, and I am taking a break from studying for final exams. I read another article in TIME magazine about the incident. It is probably the 10th article I have read aside from all the news I have watched on tv, and yet I still cry every time I read about it. I can not fathom what happened. I don't know if I would be able to handle it, and it saddens me to think that there will be followers of this incident. I know this is just another letter, but to me it is something more. I am reaching out to you from afar to let you know that you have friends everywhere who are praying for you. Please don't lose hope, because the world is still full of wonderful individuals. I spread my love to you all today.

I would just like to say that we in Australia have also been very touched and saddened by the tragedy at Columbine recently. I have a brother and sister in law who are the Salvation Army officers in Aurora and they were involved in the counselling etc of the victims' families and friends. When they emailed us to tell us of the heartache and pain they had seen that day, it became very real to us even though we weren't there and didn't know any of the victims. I have since been keeping up with things through the internet and my heart goes out to all those who suffered in some way because of this terrible tragedy. I now feel like I know you because I have read all about the victims and their families and I have shed many tears for you all. Please be assured of our love and prayers as you try to get your lives back together. Love from Jo-ann.

I have been emotional healing from this. Most of my friends that I hanged out with go to Columbine. We have been trying to forget what has happened and move on with our lives. It has been hard but we have been strating to laugh.I want to say that we are doing a good job in moving on with our lives we need to continue. I miss all of you.

I know this probably doesn't mean much coming from a person you don't even know. But I am very sad for your loss. and I hope that you can overcome this tragedy one day.

I am a 16 yr. old high school junior, and I can't even begin to imagine what you all are going through at this time in your life. But one thing I do want to say is that you all, the students and faculty of Columbine H.S., the residents of Littleton, CO and the entire population of America's youth, are in my prayers. I held back the tears for a couple of days after this occured, but when the memorial service aired on t.v., I completely broke down. I cried for hours and hours for you, and for us, the youth of today's society. Let's put this to an end right now! We shouldn't fear school, but it's just a fact of life now. Let's put an end to the senseless violence in today's society. It's not going to happen magically, but with the help of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, anything is possible!! You're always in my thoughts and prayers and remember to never give up on what you believe in, never! Sincerely, Kourtnee Moten
